Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup desiccated coconut
  • 1/4 cup milk powder
  • 2 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoon rose syrup
  • 1/2 dash green cardamom
  • 1/2 tablespoon ghee 

Method :

  1. Put dry coconut in a bowl. Add milk powder and mix with a spoon.
  2. Now add the rose syrup in batches and mix well. Add milk 1 tbsp at a time and mix well so that everything is well combined.
  3. Lastly add ghee and cardamom powder. You will get a pink colored sticky mixture.
  4. The mixture may look a bit crumbly, but don't worry.
  5. Now pour this mixture into a tray with a little depth and spread it well.
  6. Make sure it becomes as thick as barfi once it is spread. Press it lightly from all sides with a spoon and keep it in the fridge for 30 minutes.
  7. Once set, cut into pieces and serve. You can add some silver work sheets and dry fruits of your choice as garnish.
