Ingredients:
- 22 Mushroom Buttons (have in even numbers)
- ¼ cup Spinach (Boiled)
- ½ teaspoon Garlic (chopped)
- 1 teaspoon Onion (thinly chopped)
- ½ cup Rice Flour
- Salt (as per taste)
- 1 Green Chilli (finely chopped)
- ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
- ¼ teaspoon Coriander Powder
- ½ teaspoon Cumin Seeds
- Oil (for frying, plus 1 tsp extra)
- Water (as needed)
- 12 Toothpicks

Instructions:
- Prepare the Filling:
- Roughly chop the spinach (palak) and cook it in ½ tablespoon of oil until excess water evaporates.
- Add chili flakes, oregano, salt, and pepper to the spinach. Let it cool.
- Mix mozzarella cheese with the spinach mixture to create the stuffing.
- Assemble the Mushrooms:
- Clean the mushrooms and remove the stems.
- Make a hole in each mushroom where the stem was removed.
- Fill the mushrooms with the spinach-cheese mixture.
- Join two mushrooms together with the filling side facing each other and secure them with toothpicks.
- Coat and Fry:
- Dip the joined mushrooms in beaten egg or a mixture of cornstarch and all-purpose flour.
- Coat them with bread crumbs.
- Deep fry in oil until crisp and golden.
- Serve the Mushroom Duplex as a whole or cut into two pieces, accompanied by tomato ketchup or salsa.
